AFT has global drilling capacity, including facilities in Canada, Finland, Korea and Japan. In the paper industry, AFT claims one of the largest drilling capacities in both volume and size used to manufacture drilled plates and cylinders.

Our experience can help with engineering improvements for existing applications or in producing quick turn-a-round on your drilled plate needs. Our Drilled Plate Guide can also help you with design considerations, in such areas as balancing open area with plate strength.  

In the finishing process, we utilize electro-deburring or mirror polishing to eliminate sharp edges. This produces exceptionally smooth walls and surface finishes when needed. Plate products are available with proprietary DuraShield™ chrome protection, the #1 rated chrome surfacing in the paper industry. Our service centers also perform repairs and rechroming.
