GasMaster Gas Content Meter

GasMaster is carried-on gas / air content meter, which has now evolved to agile power bank version (EM500R4U), which gives you superior mobility in complex mill environment. It measures entrained, dissolved and total gas contents from white water up to 0,8% fiber consistency, and it can be used for many other process fluids as well. Measurements can be made with 0,02% resolution for 0-2,4% gas content, 0,04% resolution up to 6% gas content and 0,1% resolution up to 11,5% gas content.

Measurement is made with expansion method, where the fluid sample is subject to sudden pressure drop, causing an expansion of the gases present in the fluid. This expansion is measured, and the gas content is calculated according to Boyle’s law. The dissolved gas content is measured by holding the fluid sample under reduced pressure during which the dissolved gases will be released.
